This highly crystalline designed thermoplastic is well-known for its dimensional stability, stiffness, and durability. Delrin is suited for high-load and high-impact applications such gears, conveyor belts, bearings, rollers, and safety restraints because of these properties. Pumps, valves, and actuators that are used in damp or moist settings benefit from the low moisture absorption and tribological qualities of the material.
